Ambika Nivas Palace was built in the 1930s by the 22nd HH Thakore Saheb of Muli, Harischandrasinhji. It was intended to be the official residence of the Muli Royal Family and has served as such for generations. The palace was completed in 1936 and has remained in the family ever since.

The palace has been impeccably preserved, retaining its original grandeur and character. Recently, it has been reimagined as a boutique heritage hotel, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the opulence of royal life.
