The Poolside Lawns, with a backdrop of the Motibagh Palace, is the perfect outdoor space for 300 to 1000 people with expansive greens.

Motibaug Palace, located within the expansive Lukshmi Vilas Palace estate in Vadodara, is a historic property blending European design with Indian architectural features. The palace now features a café, dining areas, a lounge, and other amenities, combining historical charm and modern comforts. Adjacent to the palace lies the historic Moti Baug Cricket Stadium, a legacy of the Gaekwad family’s patronage of sports.

History

Motibagh Palace, built during Maharaja Ganpatrao Gaekwad’s reign (1847–1856), initially housed British architects and engineers before serving as Maharaja Pratapsinhrao Gaekwad’s residence in the 1950s. Now, it functions as the clubhouse for the Gaekwad Baroda Golf Club.

By Train: The palace is approximately 2 km from Vadodara Junction Railway Station, making it easily accessible by a brief taxi ride.
By Road: It is about 2 km from the city centre and can be reached via NH48 or local arterial roads.
