History

The Kadval Darbargadh, a 13-acre property in Kadval village, was built in 1897 by the Parmar dynasty, who ruled the Kadval State from the 10th century. Originally from Dhar in Madhya Pradesh, the Parmars migrated to the area and established their rule over 42 villages. Sri Thakore Sahib Pravin Singhji was the last ruler of the Kadval State.

The owners offer a variety of activities upon prior notice, including trekking, village tours, local sightseeing, indoor and outdoor sports, adventure games, horse riding, jeep safaris, and bullock-cart rides.

Kevdi

Forest Camps (Approximately 50km)

Located between Jambughoda Sanctuary and Ratanmahal Sanctuary, Kevdi is a beautifully forested campsite. Its key attraction is the giant brown flying squirrels, often spotted gliding between trees at dawn and dusk. The forest also has larger wildlife, such as sloth bears, leopards, and striped hyenas.
